The 10 best premium paid fonts, and the 10 best free fonts!
Hello friends! I am back to share with y’all another list of amazing handwritten fonts that I’ve discovered this year. You may have seen a few of my previous posts where I have shared some of my favorite new Romantic Script fonts or more recently, some great Vintage Style fonts. These posts have been fairly popular among my blog readers, so I decided it was time to add a new list for my fellow font-obsessed designers and creators out there!
This time, my search focused on discovering the best handwritten style fonts and typefaces that I could find! This includes several variations of styles, like calligraphic script writing and more playful hand-drawn fonts that mimic real handwriting. I love using these styles in many of my designs that require a realistic look and feel. In fact, most of these fonts were created by the artist putting real pen to paper, then scanning and digitizing each letter to create the font.
It doesn’t get any more realistic than that!
The cursive script and calligraphic fonts are perfect to use to create wedding invitations or printed envelope addressing. Why pay extra for calligraphy services when you can “fake it” with a font that looks just as realistic and elegant? Many other fonts in the list are perfect to use in designs that require a youthful handwritten scribble or casual feel.
This list includes 10 of the best paid premium handwritten fonts, plus 10 great fonts that are free for personal use. If you plan on using any of these fonts for business or promotional use, then you’ll need to make sure you choose a premium font. Each premium font from this list includes a Standard License from Creative Market which allows for commercial use.
The list of top free fonts can be used for personal projects, like scrap-booking or card making. However, don’t fear – some of the free fonts have commercial licensing available as well! So if you find one from that list that you absolutely need to use for your commercial project, check the web page for a link to pick up a license.
